Crepey skin is partly a light problem, not only a skin problem
Here is the part that gets left out. Smooth skin reflects light in one fairly even direction, so it reads as soft and continuous. Dry, rough skin does the opposite. The uneven surface scatters light in every direction at once, and that scatter is what makes fine texture so visible in the first place. This is why the same arm can look fine in soft evening light and look terrible under a change room spotlight. The texture did not change, the light did. Skin True Botanical Barrier Oil works on this directly, smoothing the surface so light catches more evenly across the skin instead of breaking up across thousands of tiny dry ridges. Most products aim at the deep structural story and never address the surface layer that is doing most of the visual work.
